Owning a pet is a lifetime commitment. Our adoption program is designed to ensure the placement of our animals into permanent, responsible, loving homes. Therefore, the guidelines listed below are followed.

  • You must be 18 years old to adopt a pet.
  • Pets under 4 months of age might not be adopted to families with children under 5 years of age.
  • Landlord consent is required prior to adoption.
  • Adopted pets may not be given as gifts to other people.
  • If at any time, you are no longer able to keep the pet you have adopted, you must return it to the shelter.
  • Approval of any application is at the discretion of the Animal Shelter staff and will be made in the interest of finding the best permanent home for our animals.
  • ALL ANIMALS ADOPTED FROM THE SHELTER MUST BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED.

Adoption Fee:
$85 for Cats, Kittens and Dogs (over 6 months of age and greater than 25 lbs)
$95 for Puppies younger than 6 months and for all dogs less than 25 lbs.

Each pet will be spayed or neutered, dewormed and current on vaccinations (except rabies) when adopted. Microchipping is available for $10.
