Promise Fund

Working together, through the Promise Fund, we can guide them all home

Brown County Humane Society’s Promise Fund is an endowment fund of assets, built by generous donors, that, when invested prudently, will provide a perpetual source of operating income to:

  • Rescue companion animals that are found, surrendered, abandoned, neglected or forgotten.
  • Shelter all animals in a clean, safe and compassionate environment until owners or adoptive homes are found.
  • Adopt homeless pets into loving, permanent homes.
  • Educate people of all ages about the positive benefits of spaying and neutering, responsible pet ownership, and how to successfully integrate companion animals into family life.
  • Assist Brown County residents who need help to find, feed or adequately care for their animal companions.
  • Partner with other friends of animals to ensure all pets are provided the opportunity to live a healthy & peaceful life.

Promise Fund donors provide a perpetual source of revenue to ensure that animals in need will always have a safe haven while waiting for a loving home.
