We will be accepting donations on Sat & Sun (Aug 13-14) from 9am-1pm and Mon-Thurs (Aug 15-18) from 12pm-4pm.Drop off GOOD used items, but please no clothing, shoes, or electronics.

What type of donations are we looking for? That’s easy. Anything except clothing and shoes. (Well, anything in good shape.) Start looking around your house and see what you are no longer using.

• How about those old cookbooks you haven’t looked at in years?
• Old baby furniture you no longer need.
• How about those extra 20 coffee mugs that are crowding your cupboards, along with the gazillion other cooking items you always meant to use?  
• All those books you kept meaning to read, but never did.
• Old movies you’ve seen a hundred times. Why not let someone else watch them?
• Now into downloading music? Hand over your old CDs.
• How about gardening/outdoor stuff that you’re no longer using?
• House too crowded? Donate some of those extra tables, bookcases etc.
• Knick-knacks. Who doesn’t have extras of those?
• Christmas and other holiday items that you’ve put up year after year. Need a change?
• And of course, check your basement and garage. Yep, it’s time to finally start going through those “to-do” piles and pulling stuff out. (We all have those piles, admit it!)
• Basically, please donate anything that might bring in some money for the animals.

The Brown County Humane Society Barn is located next door to the Humane Society at 128 S. State Road 135, Nashville, IN. It’s a big white barn—you can’t miss it.
