The “Dawg Gone Walk & Fiesta” is a fun-filled day where pets and owners enjoy contests, games, demonstrations and the pledge walk. Unlike some animal welfare organizations we are not a county or government agency and do not receive funds from national humane organizations. Every bit of operational funds must be raised each year to run the shelter. This event is one of the biggest fundraisers for the shelter and all proceeds go directly to house, feed and care for the homeless pets in Brown County.
Save a Shelter Pet - Your Donations Make a Difference. It costs approximately $17,000 per month to run the shelter, and we care for 1400 pets each year with a 90% Out Alive rate (one of the best in the United States)!

- On-site registration starts at 12:30 pm
