JoAnn is proof that with patience, a gentle touch, and lots of snacks that a cat can blossom into a gentle soul. When JoAnn first arrived at the shelter, she spent her first few days hiding and terrified of the shelter. After a few days, she became curious about our staff, often finding her observing us and gently meowing. With patience, a gentle touch, and lots of Churu, JoAnn let her true gentle soul show. She was soaking up the attention and gentle pets from our staff and volunteers all while enjoying all the tasty snacks we would give her. We soon discovered that JoAnn loves other cats. She is very gentle with other cats wanting to become their best friends, but she understands that not every cat wants to be friends right away. Once she has become friends with cats, she loves to play with them and will follow them around gently rubbing them. JoAnn would thrive in a calm, quiet home that has other cat friends with a family that will embrace her gentle loving soul.
