Meet Mia, the perfect companion. This sweet older gal is one for the finer things in life: soft beds, taking long naps, and gentle pets from her favorite people. Mia has been known to be a little shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly once she realizes that you will give her pets. Most of the time, Mia is a quiet gal who you might not even notice is there, but when she does want something from her humans, she will give you a soft meow, letting you know that she is ready for you to give her your full attention. While she does love to spend most of her day in her soft, comfy bed napping, she secretly has a playful side. If you wave a teaser toy or wiggle some string in front of her, she is ready to play. After she has had her quick playtime, she is happy to snuggle up in your lap for her next nap of the day. Mia currently eats a prescription diet to help her maintain her health, which can be discussed with our adoption counselors.
