By typing your full name in the box below, you are providing an electronic signature indicating you have read and accept the following Waiver and Release of Liability: I have volunteered to help at the Brown County Humane Society, and in doing so I accept and acknowledge that there are certain risks involved in being at the premises, and in working with the animals. Those risks include, but are not limited to, the following: Behavior issues with domestic animals – while the majority of domestic animals are well behaved, there are always outliers and I accept the fact that a domestic animal is capable of inflicting serious personal injury, even death, as well as extensive property damage, and I acknowledge this fact and agree to work with the domestic animals anyway. I also understand that domestic animals may carry zoonotic disease which can be transferred to humans and other animals through direct and indirect contact, and I knowingly accept this risk. Other risks may arise as a result of my volunteer activities at the Brown County Humane Society, and I accept those risks even though I may not be aware of them at this time. I agree to knowingly assume all risks of volunteering at the Brown County Humane Society, whether or not known, and I agree to assume those risks and to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Brown County Humane Society and/or its officers, directors, supervisors, employees, and well as other volunteers for any and all personal injury and property damages resulting from my volunteer work.
