Acorn came into the shelter unsure of people and keeping his guard up. With time, patience, and the magic of lickable treats, he’s been learning that humans aren’t so scary after all. He may be hesitant at first and might even give a little hiss, but once the treats come out, Acorn is right there—curious, brave, and ready to try. As trust builds, he shows how much he enjoys gentle scratches, especially around his cheeks and under his chin. Acorn would thrive in a calm, patient home that will let him move at his own pace and help him continue to blossom into the loving house cat he so clearly wants to be.
