Our Mission

The mission of the Brown County Humane Society is to be a community resource dedicated to promoting the welfare of all animals in our county.  We provide temporary shelter to pets in need and promote adoption of homeless pets into loving, permanent homes.  We advocate respect for animals through public education concerning responsible pet ownership.  We support and promote spaying and neutering to ultimately eliminate pet overpopulation in our community.

Featured Pet

Mabel - a 2-3 year old female Boston Terrier came to the shelter with a severe case of mange and very undernourished and scared.  She's safe and warm now, but needs your help to cover her medical expenses.  Please consider donating to Mabel's fund.
