Her pups are raised, she’s got a comfy place to sleep, all those nasty fleas and ticks and worms are gone and she can count on yummy meals every day.  That’s a big change from where she came from and Gertie seems ever so grateful for the hospitality.

Just one thing is missing – a real family of her own.

A genuine snuggle-bug, Gertie truly enjoys people attention and laps are her favorite place to be.  Her second favorite place – outdoors strolling through the grass, sniffing in the bushes and checking out the wildlife.
