Operations began in the new facility in June, but finishing touches, including paving the parking lot and installation of climbing walls in our cat community rooms, were still being completed this week. We wanted the building to be as close to perfect as possible for our supporters before having our official celebration. And, now we are ready to party!

The day will kick off with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Noon. After that, the new facility will be open to everyone for tours and we will have hot dogs, chips, drinks and fun music to celebrate this wonderful day.

The Brown County community and the BCHS network of supporters are the people who made this building possible. These donations created a create a shelter that betters serves not only the animals, but also the staff, volunteers and the hundreds of visitors we see every single year. We are thrilled to finally be able to celebrate this new facility with you this weekend.

We hope too see you Saturday so we can celebrate together!
